homivo.

Use in chat

Ask Claude for a home

Add Homivo to Claude, ChatGPT, or Cursor. There is no account and no API key. Then ask the way you would ask a person.

The address

Paste this where the app asks for a server address. Name it Homivo. When it asks you to sign in, choose no sign-in.

https://homivo.co.uk/api/mcp

Try this sentence once it is connected: “cottage with a sea view near Oban under £400,000”. Homivo indexes homes for sale across Scotland, most of them in the Highlands, Argyll and Bute, Moray, Aberdeenshire, Orkney, and the Western Isles. It is not a UK-wide search. The enquiry stays with the estate agent who is selling the home.

Claude

This works on the Claude website and in the Claude desktop app. A free account can add one custom connector. On a Team or Enterprise plan, an owner adds the connector first, and then each person connects it.

  1. Open Customize, then Connectors.
  2. Click Add, then Custom, then Web. On Pro or Max this is Add custom connector.
  3. Name it Homivo.
  4. Paste https://homivo.co.uk/api/mcp and continue.
  5. Choose No sign in. Leave the request headers empty, then click Add.
  6. Start a chat and ask for the cottage.

ChatGPT

Use ChatGPT on the web. If your menu says Apps instead of Plugins, the same address still goes in the server URL, with no authentication.

  1. Open Plugins.
  2. Click the plus button, then Add custom MCP server.
  3. Name it Homivo.
  4. Under Connection, paste https://homivo.co.uk/api/mcp.
  5. Set authentication to No authentication.
  6. Read the warning, confirm it, and create the plugin. Install it.
  7. In a chat, type @ and choose Homivo, then ask for the cottage.

Cursor

  1. Open Cursor Settings, then Tools and MCP.
  2. Click New MCP Server. That opens mcp.json.
  3. Add Homivo. If other servers are already in the file, add this block beside them and keep the rest.
{
  "mcpServers": {
    "homivo": {
      "url": "https://homivo.co.uk/api/mcp"
    }
  }
}
  1. Save the file. Cursor connects on its own. There is no sign-in step.
  2. Ask the agent for the cottage.

What to expect

Homivo reads the sentence, then answers with homes and the reason each one matched. A sea view is that view from the photographs or the advert. “In Oban” is that town. “Near Oban” is about a 90 minute drive. “Within 45 minutes of Oban” is that drive.

You can search about 30 times a minute. If the reply says to wait, wait that many seconds and ask again. You can also search on the site at /search.
