Glenlearig Cottage is a traditional, one bedroom cottage which sits in garden grounds extending to 0.89 acres, it enjoys a quiet and tranquil position. The cottage is decorated in neutral colours throughout and has wood effect vinyl floor covering. It is fully double glazed and has electric heating.

Glenlearig Cottage is accessed by a UPVC door to the hallway.

To the left of the hall is the spacious lounge which has dual aspect windows to the front and rear. It has a central feature of a multifuel stove on a painted concrete hearth with matching surround and mantle. A door leads to the kitchen and a door opens to the staircase to the upper floor.

The kitchen has a good range of painted floor and wall units with a marble effect worksurface and tiled splashback. There is space and plumbing for a washing machine and space for a cooker and fridge. The dual aspect windows overlook the gardens towards the burn.

To the right of the hallway is bedroom one which is a double bedroom with built-in storage cupboard.

The bathroom is also accessed from the hall and has a three-piece suite in white comprising WC, wash hand basin and bath with tiling around and electric shower over.

From the lounge, a staircase leads to the attic room which has a coombed ceiling with Velux window and wooden flooring.

Glenlearig Cottage is situated on the dramatic West Coast close to the tiny village of Drumbeg. Drumbeg has local amenities including a village store with delicatessen, a hotel, pub and restaurant with further facilities in Lochinver the main village of Assynt. Lochinver provides a range of services including shops, school, medical services, leisure centre and good quality restaurants. Ullapool, some 37 miles away, has a wider range of shops, a supermarket, restaurants, pubs and hotels and is the main ferry terminus to Stornoway. The city of Inverness is about 94 miles to the south and has a greater variety of facilities including modern shopping centres, theatre, hotels and restaurants, cinemas and the main railway station. Inverness Airport has a variety of services to include destinations both domestic and abroad.

The property is on the Assynt Peninsula which has a spectacular coastline and many magnificent mountains as well as some 240 lochs which provide some wonderful wild brown trout fishing (by permit). The area has white sandy beaches and rock pools with the most famous being Achmelvich with its sand dunes and turquoise waters. Loch Nedd, 1 mile south, provides a good all year-round anchorage and benefits from a community slipway, jetty and mooring buoys which are available through the local club.
